When Julian Barrera moved to this island, he was haunted by the spirit of the girl. To please her spirit, he hung several dolls across the island. After a while, Julian told his nephew that the girl wanted him to join her as a playmate in the afterlife. His body was later found in the canal at the same spot as that of the girl. 19. Old Changi Hospital and Changi Beach, Singapore
The Changi beach and the old hospital built in 1935 are claimed to be haunted. Many Chinese soldiers were killed by the Japanese on the beach. The Japanese Kempeitai(Japanese Imperial Secret Police) occupied the hospital and turned it into a torture camp during World War II.
